合果芋屬常綠草質藤本，原產中美洲，本種是葉片粉紅色園藝品種。
葉腋伸出數個佛燄花序，佛燄苞色，發育後佛燄苞轉色。
互生葉片植株成熟度而有型態；幼葉箭形或戟形單葉，有白色脈紋；葉3裂或掌狀裂成複葉，裂片5~11片。

An evergreen vine in the genus Syrgonium, native to Central America. This is a cultivar producing pink foliage. It climbs with developed aerial roots on the support objects and can grow up to more than 10 m. The alternate leaves have evolved into different patterns depending on the plant maturity; young plants produce simple, arrow-shaped or halberd-shaped leaves with white veins; the leaves of adult plant are 3-lobed or palmately-lobed compound with 5 to 11 lobes. A couple of spadix protruding from the leaf axils, spathe white-green, and the remaining spathes turn red when the fruits are ripe. Flowering and fruiting in summer.
耐陰性強，室內依靠人工照明或於室外牆蔭、樹蔭下能生長。
